When you get a bit more money do try some other guns and you probably won't be so keen on your supersport!
I bought a 99 because I wanted a break barrel with open sights, chronod it and it struggled to reach 10 fp with superdomes. took it back to the dealers who exchanged it for another one which they chronod at 11.3 before I took away.

be careful with that mate, putting a .177 spring or gas ram in a .22 will invariably push your rifle over the legal limit. due to the fact that the spring/gas ram needs to be much more powerful to push a .177 to impact at the same power as a .22. I'd get it chrono'd if i were you, if the fuzz catch you, you could be knee deep in the brown stuff

Yes, we are allowed 18 foot-pounds here. Makes the .25 a very viable hunting calibre.

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone (who really knows about airguns) to slag these little gems off...

For the money (£200) they are truly hard to beat.

Almost as good as their sister gun - the (standard) BSA Lightning.

Cheap, well made, light, full power, robust and reliable. What more could you want if you have a limited budget...

Try to get a proper English (Brummie) version and NOT a Gamo (Spanish) made model. The latest BSA Lightning XL has trigger faults galore...

I have used one of these in the .22 and .177 as sporter/fun airguns for quite a while. Excellent rifles for the money. Reliable and consistent.

Give me the 'Art Deco' lines and the same performance of the Mercury over the Supersport any decade!!!
