    Theoben Evolution

    Hi folks

New to the forum and a very recent addition back into the airgunning world. I bought myself a Theoben Evolution. To the best of my knowledge, Theoben was a company that did not even exist back when I had airguns as a young kid but I am seriously impressed with the quality of the build and performance of the gun. I do video reviews of darts and a few friends of mine asked me to do a video of the gun when they knoew I had bought one. Its only a quick effort so excuse the rough around the edges feel. But here you go - my gun

Thanks very much! I also am very impressed with the rifle although I have no real experience of others in the last 35 years or so with which to compare it. but it shoots straight and its a whole lot more accurate than I am. The video is pretty rough to be honest and just something that some of the dart lads asked me to put together to show them - they are used to much better...... lol

I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of the manufacture. Fair enough the wood is not particularly nicely grained - plain in fact, but the metalwork is superb and everything about the gun smacks of good engineering

I ended up refinishing mine as the original finish looked like a dry spray job!

    Refinishing an Evolution

Though if I did it again, I would use tru oil as its a bit faster drying than my 50/50 linseed oil mix.
