From the Solware page: "This Official Licensed Replica of the Russian AK47 Kalashnikov looks and feels just like the real thing. Weighing in at 7 lbs the guns stock and foregrip are real wood and the body, including the action and barrel, is metal. This semi-automatic BB gun is powered by one 12 gram CO2 cartridge, which is averaging about 40 shots." Cool indeed!

edit: Then again, I am a bit of an AK fan...

I have had a look at one of these and they look great but there top half of the gun including the receiver and cocking lever seem to be made of very cheap pressed metal - almost like biscuit tin thickness.
The woodwork on the one I had hold of looked like they had used a different tree for each piece of wood as none of them matched.
All that said, I would probably have one as there are very few military type rifles on the market and will definitely be in high demand based on the fact that cybergun can never get enough if them imported.
Thank You Gunsmith!.................................................. .....................................Sorry Bank Manager!

    Hi

I was at Sandwell Field Sports today with a friend and they had one of these in stock (i'm pretty sure it was one of these), apparently it's a bit smaller than a real AK47 as my mate had seen a real one..

I really fancied it but i'm saving me pennies for a very special Webley mk1 air rifle

    Cheers, John

Do you still get the Yunkers (spelling?) version of the BB firing AK? Always fancied one of those apparently they are pretty good quality and have a lot of actual AK parts. The one above does look pretty neat though as I dont think the Yunkers had the wood.

Hi, The Solware gun is a chinese copy !
I had to laugh when I saw 50 yards mentioned Ha ha, I don,t doubt its good fun though,
    As to original parts ???????

The original " Yunkers 3 " Is 95% Kalashnikov & Thats the reason they were Banned in the UK, & The Usa
The importation of these were banned , But not the sales of existing guns, Apparently only 70 ish were imported to the USA before they banned them !
Because of the exclusivity of them , Prices in the USA & Australia reach $1-$2000,

I have one ! Complete with spare seal kit & Spare cleaning rod ( Very Rare ) & Handbook
Its " As new " Co2, Semi-Auto same as the Chinese gun,

How does it shoot ? Well !! Like any smooth bore co2 gun ( Thats not well )
    But RARE,

    Cheers, Ged.

Thats a cracker Ged I have seen them for sale for around the £200 mark though? They pop up over on the "other" site now and again too, usually (as you know) at a ridiculous price before the seller is told (via PM of course) to wind their neck in, stop being a greedy mofo and get real hahaha.
