Also mines not carbine and with the slip on to 1/2inch unf its massive with a hw mod on! Liking it so far tho

The trigger's okay, but I'd love it if there was a proper, match grade aftermarket trigger kit for it. I suppose you'd have to replace the whole unit, but that wouldn't be too much of a problem as far as I'm concerned.

I've never used a Classic, but I can imagine that the extra 80mm or so would make quite a difference.

Only had my 410 1.77 carbine for a few weeks now but your review is spot on. Wanted one for so long and am thoroughly made up with it. Does exactly what I ask of it, when I ask it to. Shame the missus isnt a 410! Nice to find an honest review for once. Read so many one sided ones!!

What size groups are you getting? I was getting 1" at 30 for the first 2-3 weeks until it tightened up to around 1/2".

Pretty much pellet-on-pellet at 30 yards. It opens up a bit as you go to longer ranges, but it's pretty good.

Great review, I've got a .177, I've never double loaded it but I can see where that would be easy, I've taken the mag out a couple of times after being unsure and let it fire dry, however, I love that it does what it says on the tin and it's never needed repairing and the AA Diablo Fields are as accurate as you'd want.
There are guns out there that I'd like to buy, but I cant see me ever getting rid of my 410 to fund them.

I don't find it heavy, Martin. I haven't got a means of weighing mine but it's easily carried for an afternoon's stalking.
