for all that have asked about hpa ratty

not sure where to put this guide
    righto here we go
first thing you will need is a co2 eliminator from gmac
    http://www.gmaccustomparts.com/epage...roducts/CBEL50
next you will need a 1/8 npt adaptor to screw in to the co2 eliminator
take your pick from straight or 90 degree elbow from here
    http://www.rap4uk.com/CO2-Air-Adapter-s/62.htm
and finally you will need a hpa bottle and remote line
this is the bottle i have and it is regulated at 800-850psi,at a 170 bar charge will give at least 80 shots
    bottle and remote line here
    http://www.rap4uk.com/Guerrilla-Air-.../ms805-1pi.htm
my ratty has a different set up,i have a braided hose on mine and my bottle holder is fixed to the underside of the pistol grips, braided hoses are also available on rap4uk,i don't know where the bottle holder i have was bought from,i got it from the pierced 1 so maybe he can shed some light on where it came from
    braided hoses here
    http://www.rap4uk.com/Air-Line-s/1504.htm
if you can find the same bottle holder i have i would recommend the 12 inch braided hose if not not the remote coil hose is just as good and will do the job
how to bulk fill a ratty

Hi Andy,I have gone a different route.I ordered the hipac unit from the states, have made some enquiries re the power if using hpa,if charging upto 1200psi it will go over the legal limit but if tuned down by using a lighter hammer spring & power adjuster it should drop below 12ft/lb with standard 2250 valve (except extra pinning on the valve for safety).I was wondering what your thoughts on this setup would be ?,i think it would still be illegal because it would be capable of going over limit just by adjusting the gmac power adjuster unless i could get the spring just right so it stays under when fully adjusted.
At the moment i have decided to stick to co2 as the power will be well under the legal limit just using the hipac & co2 bulk fill with hose & 20oz co2 bottle.

i looked at the hipac unit but decided against it
did not like the idea it was not regulated at 800-850 psi which is all the ratty valve can handle
i have seen some pump those those hipac units up to 3000 psi idiots
if you only pump it to 850 psi i see no reason why it should be over, just make sure you chrono it

Great right up andy. I think the thread should be locked as not to sway from the info.

PJ, be carefull with the hipac. I looked at this and was advised against it due to safety issues

No worries tat, its a certain fact i won't be using hpa with the hipac just bought a couple of co2 bottles & braided hose off here,so will stick with co2 in the hipac should be safe @ 850 psi. Will be on the lookout for a cheapish pcp if one turns up.
