The variation betweenlevers on the Witness and Full Bore or TM is much more than "a bit of fitting up" the dimensions and locations are different enough that you'd need a lot more than filing or machining - ask me how I know ;-)

I was only giving an opinion that it was not a straight swap for real 1911 parts, based on something I had read. I know well that you Nick are the custom king for Witness 1911 parts which you make and sell. I stand corrected and bow before the great Q.

I will now polish my 1911 and clean pellets, one by one with a toothbrush until the whole tin is clean.

Fitting custom parts to the TFW is no easy task. There are very few parts that will drop straight in, most need some degree of work to fit with no guarentee that they will perform correctly. Even triggers may need some fettling to fit correctly. I have replaced a number and all needed to be worked on to fit(except one, thanks Nick)

In saying that, most things can be made and other parts can be made to fit. Most of it is very time consuming and very very fiddly! I recently fitted a beavertail safety, ambi thumb safety and a flat hammer spring housing to my TFW but it was three solid days of work to get it done and a huge amount of research and planning prior to laying hands on the pistol.
