For some time I have been looking for an air rifle to give to my brother for his birthday and not wanting to deplete my own shooting budget I restricted myself to £50!

After a couple of months of nothing, I was preparing to face up to increasing the budget or to by an smk! (the latter would have probably been the outcome).

Anyway today after speaking to a mate who informed me that his mates, mate had one for sale at the required budget. A few phone calls later and I'm now the proud owner of something beginning with F that I cannot pronounce, but I know they make good rifles and its not Chinese!

Feinwerkbau? Sounds like a German brewery, didn't know they made airguns.

Hmm, I'll reserve judgement until I actually pass it on, I'm starting to feel an attachment!

Well I wasn't gonna suggest it before but since the thought has obviously already crossed your mind, are you sure you wanna pass it on ?

I can assure you that if it was mine it'd be going nowhere soon...

Put it this way, if a more suitable present turns up before the end of the month I'm keeping it!
